Q. Why should we use Chocolit Cascades?
We are a family run business so to us it is important that we offer a fantastic product based on our wealth of experience and also value for money. We personally attend your event and do not sub contract our bookings to third parties. We also have the flexibility to work with you and will do our utmost to accomodate all of your needs.
Q. How do we make a booking?

The easiest way to make a booking is to complete our online form. Alternatively you can call us on 0845 094 2775. Please note that we do have 'peak' times so it is in your best interest to book as soon as possible. Once we have received your booking instruction, we will confirm your date via e-mail and then issue you with an invoice for a deposit. The size of the deposit will depend on what fountain you are booking but as an example for a chocolate fountain we would be looking for a £75.00 deposit. (please note that this will be a non refundable deposit.) We will require payment in full 10 days prior to your event for which an invoice will be sent in advance.

Please note that we will hold your booking as provisional and issue you with a deposit invoice,which will be payable within 7 days from acceptance of booking by email. If payment of deposit is not received within 7 days, we will cancel your provisional booking and make your requested date available on a first come, first served basis.

Q. Will I have to pay a delivery charge?
A delivery charge may be applicable for small chocolate fountains and champagne fountains. Please contact us for more details.
Q. Do I need an operator?
Yes! Our price is fully inclusive of us attending your event. We will set up, administer and close down the fountain once the hire has finished.
Q. Do you use fresh chocolate for each rental?
Yes! We will never recycle chocolate from a previous rental. If you have any chocolate left over at the end of your hire, with prior notice we can save the chocolate for you.
Q. How does the fountain work?
The chocolate is warmed in the lower basin. Once it reaches it's optimum temperature it travels to the top tier via a central column. Once the top tier becomes full the chocolate will start to cascade down to the next tier, which is slightly bigger. This procedure continues until the chocolate has reached the lower tier and then you have your fountain. The chocolate will look like a veil or curtain to which your guests can then select a dip and enjoy........!
Q. How long does the chocolate last for?
We supply unlimited chocolate for the number of guests at your event. We will add additional chocolate if and when required. The fountain itself will run for hours on end. There would not be a problem with the fountain lasting for the entire evening as the fountain is temperature controlled to stop the chocolate from solidifying.
Q. Can the fountain be used outdoors?
For a chocolate fountain, no. The air temperature plays an important part in the smooth operation of the fountain. If you are planning to hold your event in a marquee that is OK. Wind also has to be considered as we would not want your fountain to be blown over. Insects can also be attracted to the fountain so we will not set up outdoors. If you are looking to hire a champagne fountain, this can be accomodated outdoors.
Q. Are the dipping items included?
Yes! Our price is fully inclusive of all dipping items. You can provide your own but consultation with us is important as some items are not suitable and may clog up the machine.
Q. What do you provide?
We provide an operator, fountain, dips, skewers, napkins and table decorations. We can discuss futher requirements and themes if required.
Q. Can we pay via Credit Card?

We now offer credit card payments. We must receive your order first to ensure that your preferred date is not already booked. Once we have confirmed availability, you can pay the deposit via the payment button on our site here.

Once your deposit is received and nearer to your date we will send you an email which will confirm the balance outstanding and a link (via a button) to finalise your payment. Please ensure that when you place your order you confirm you would like to pay via credit card so we know your preferred payment option.
